The site of the current 'The Beauchamp' public house and restaurant has existed for at least two hundred years and under its former name of Grove Tavern, occupied a position adjacent to a cricket pitch that hosted the first ever cricket match between Australia and England in 1880.
The Beauchamp is located in the fashionable Knightsbridge in London on the South-West side of the Beauchamp Place, a road running South-Eastwards between the Brompton Road in the North and Lennox Gardens and Pont Street in the South West.
